Job Description

Our Client is a registered Oil and Gas Company in Nigeria. They specialize in Oil and Gas exploration, trading, shipping services, logistics and manufacturing. And they require the services of Electrical Technician.

Job Summary:He will participate in maintaining all electrical assets of the company including installation, troubleshooting, repair & maintenance and other electrical installations at all locations owned by the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:Implement, maintain, trouble-shoot, repair, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components in the terminal and other company sites.Participate in all electrical installations repairs and servicing in the terminal.Have a good knowledge of specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.Investigate and test suppliers products for compliance to industry standards andspecifications. Develop budget estimates, labour cost, materials and installation of electrical materials.Plan, schedule, and carry out regular preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment and components in the terminal.Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformity todesign and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.Any other duties they may be assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:Candidates must possess an OND in Electrical Engineering.Candidate must have 2-3 years relevant experience in depot operations or related fields.Must be resident in Lagos.In-depth Knowledge of electrical equipments.Must have an eye for details.Sound interpersonal, persuasive and technical skills combined with tact and diplomacy.Ability to manage and prioritize a busy work load.Must be self-motivated, ambitious and a quick learner.Excellent organization, communication and negotiation skills.
