Responsibilities: To perform over site function on construction activities on site and monitor main contractors all through the project cycle Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for main contractor, subcontractors, crafts people and other operatives; Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations and ensure proper implementation; Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws; Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of the main contractors and any subcontractors; Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site; Preparing reports as required; Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
Educational Requirements and Skills: Must have 4 years experience in a Construction or Civil company. Must have at least 3 years on-Site experience Must have worked on multipurpose Buildings Bsc Building, HND/B- Eng Civil. Any certification or designation requirements. Professional associations will be an added advantage Strong personality Construction execution experience An extra-ordinary eye for details on site.
